Though hard to report, the "courage" of an individual can be mostly seen in the severity of defects that they may log in the system. Often, reporting severe items which may impact the release of a deliverable may be often suppressed by management. ZenSOFT encourages associates to report critical items with courage. We believe that helping management to take a bold decision to postpone a release due to Severe issues is a better alternative as compared to facing a critical defect after the release of a particular deliverable.

Efficiency - Efficiency provides a measure of how well the tester uses their time. Metrics that provide Test Cases written or Bugs detected against a finite time period can provide an indication of Efficiency in the project.

Effectiveness - Effectiveness measures the extent to which a tester achieves the objective of tasks assigned to them. At ZenSOFT, we would rate our testers high not if they were the ones to find the most number of Bugs in the system, but if they were effective in getting the most number of bugs fixed by developers as well.

Diligence - Diligence at ZenSOFT goes to show how carefully and how hard the tester does her work. It can be noticed when the overall time to test a feature or to fix a defect that has been logged by a tester is less due to the Diligence that the tester adopted at the time of writing the test case or logging the defect.
